TransAlta Corporation has announced the commencement of its largest wind project, the 300 MW White Rock facilities in Oklahoma, now supplying Amazon with renewable energy. This marks a significant expansion of TransAlta’s US operations, boosting its renewable portfolio to 820 MW. Additionally, the company has secured a lucrative 10-year deal for the sale of production tax credits, further stabilizing its revenue streams from renewable sources.
