TotalEnergies SE (GB:TTE) has released an update.
TotalEnergies has partnered with Vanguard Renewables, supported by BlackRock’s infrastructure fund, to form a joint venture aiming to construct and operate renewable natural gas projects in the U.S., with plans to build 10 projects within a year. These projects are expected to significantly contribute to TotalEnergies’ goal of producing 10 TWh of renewable natural gas by 2030, while Vanguard Renewables aims to commission over 100 RNG projects by the end of 2028. This strategic collaboration leverages TotalEnergies’ global energy expertise and Vanguard’s leadership in farm-based organics-to-RNG production.
