Suncorp Group Limited has announced the launch of Capital Notes 5, a new security offering aimed at raising additional Tier 1 capital for funding and capital management purposes. Eligible holders of the company’s Capital Notes 2 are given the opportunity to reinvest into the newly offered Capital Notes 5, subject to meeting the specified eligibility criteria and application through a Syndicate Broker. The offer is part of Suncorp’s strategic capital planning and is not available to general securityholders due to the product design and distribution obligations regime.
