Standard Chartered (GB:STAN) has released an update.
Standard Chartered PLC has announced the purchase of 1,208,596 of its own shares as part of its 2024 Buy-back program, with prices ranging from 661.2000 to 672.8000 pence per share. The total amount spent on buy-backs to date has reached $575,886,784.64, and the company plans to cancel the acquired shares, which will adjust the total number of ordinary shares and voting rights. The transaction is part of a pre-announced plan aimed at optimizing shareholder value.
