St. Barbara Ltd. (AU:SBM) has released an update.
St Barbara Ltd has announced significant assay results from its recent diamond drilling program at Simberi Operations in Papua New Guinea, revealing promising gold mineralization between the Sorowar and Pigiput ore bodies, which lie outside the current Inferred Resource areas. The results, which include broad intercepts such as 56 meters at 2.9 g/t Au, will contribute to the upcoming Mineral Resource and Ore Reserve update. The company’s exploration efforts, which leverage a decade of geological advancements, have identified new zones of mineralization and are awaiting further assay results to potentially expand their resource base.
