Spirent Communications (UK) (GB:SPT) has released an update.
Spirent Communications PLC has received a superior cash acquisition offer from Keysight Technologies Inc., supplanting a previous bid from Viavi Solutions Acquisitions Limited (‘Viavi Bidco’). Spirent’s board is recommending that shareholders vote in favor of the Keysight offer, and consequently, meetings related to the Viavi offer scheduled for May 1, 2024, are proposed to be indefinitely adjourned. The Annual General Meeting for Spirent will still take place as planned, unaffected by this recent development in acquisition talks.
