Serco Group plc has recently announced the purchase of 44,093 of its own shares, which it plans to hold in treasury. This acquisition is part of a share buyback programme initiated on February 29, 2024, bringing the total number of shares bought back to 14,055,417. Following these transactions, the company has 1,089,490,549 shares in issue, excluding those held in treasury.
