Serco Group plc has announced the acquisition of 38,171 of its own shares on April 22, 2024, as part of an ongoing share buyback program initiated on February 29, 2024. The company has now accumulated a total of 12,642,790 shares in treasury, with the total number of shares in issue (excluding treasury shares) standing at 1,090,903,176. This latest transaction is part of Serco’s strategy to manage its capital structure and return value to its shareholders.
