Banco Santander Brasil SA (BSBR) has released an update.
Banco Santander Brasil S.A. announced the Board of Directors’ approval for a substantial Interest on Equity payment totaling R$ 1.5 billion, set to be paid out on May 15, 2024. Shareholders on record as of April 19, 2024, will be eligible for the payment, with shares trading ex-interest starting April 22. This move follows the company’s bylaws and tax legislation, fully accounting for the mandatory dividends for the fiscal year 2024.
