The Royal Bank of Canada has entered into a Sixth Supplemental Indenture with The Bank of New York Mellon, succeeding JPMorgan Chase Bank as Trustee, to amend terms for the issuance of senior debt securities. This agreement, dated July 23, 2024, modifies certain provisions of the original Indenture dated October 23, 2003, affecting securities issued on or after the date of the new supplement. Key amendments include changes to redemption notice periods and the execution of securities, which are set to enhance the terms under which the bank’s debt securities are managed and serviced.
