Royal Bank Of Canada (TSE:RY) has released an update.
At the Royal Bank of Canada’s annual meeting, all 13 director nominees were successfully elected, with overwhelming shareholder support exemplified by votes of over 98% for each candidate. Additionally, PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP was reappointed as the bank’s auditor with a 99.65% approval rate, and an advisory vote favored the bank’s executive compensation approach with 96.27% support. Notably, several shareholder proposals, including those on clean energy disclosure and in-person meetings, were either withdrawn or did not pass.
