Prudential Share Repurchase Reduces Issued Shares

Prudential (GB:PRU) has released an update.

Prudential plc has reported a decrease in its issued ordinary shares following the repurchase and subsequent cancellation of shares on July 29, 2024. This move, which saw 1,197,182 shares repurchased at a price of GBP 6.772 each, resulted in a minor reduction of 0.043689% of the existing shares, leaving a closing balance of 2,739,050,006 issued shares.
