ProQR Therapeutics has announced their upcoming Annual General Meeting for shareholders on May 22, 2024, and the nomination of Martin Maier, PhD, a seasoned expert in RNA therapeutics, to their Board. Additionally, the company plans to transition to a one-tier Board structure and appoint James Shannon, MD, as the new chairperson. These changes come as ProQR continues to advance its proprietary Axiomer RNA editing technology, which holds the potential to create a new class of medicines for various diseases.
