POSCO HOLDINGS INC. has released its separate financial statements for the years ending December 31, 2023 and 2022, which have been audited and deemed to fairly represent the company’s financial position in accordance with Korean International Financial Reporting Standards. The report highlighted a key audit matter concerning impairment on investments in subsidiaries, associates, and joint ventures, noting that the company recognized an impairment loss and detailing the rigorous audit procedures applied to this area. Additionally, the independent auditors issued an unmodified opinion on the effectiveness of POSCO’s internal control over financial reporting.
