Perseus Mining Limited (AU:PRU) has released an update.
Perseus Mining Limited has taken a controlling interest in OreCorp with a 51.03% stake and has declared its final, unconditional off-market takeover bid for all OreCorp shares, urging shareholders to accept promptly unless a superior proposal arises. The OreCorp Board is coordinating a transition that will include Perseus representatives assuming the majority of board positions. Perseus aims to develop the Nyanzaga Gold Project, potentially the first major gold mine in Tanzania in nearly 20 years.
