People’s Insurance Co (Group) of China (HK:1339) has released an update.

The People’s Insurance Company (Group) of China has announced the appointment of Ms. Ding Xiangqun as the new chairperson, effective December 20, 2024, following approval from the National Financial Regulatory Administration. Ms. Ding will also serve as an executive director and the chairperson of the Strategy and Investment Committee. This strategic move is expected to enhance the company’s leadership and drive its growth initiatives in the financial markets.
