Pembina Pipeline Corp. (TSE:PPL) has released an update.
Pembina Pipeline Corp. and Haisla Nation have advanced their Cedar LNG project, securing a 20-year commercial offtake agreement and approving commencement of detailed engineering and construction work. This move signifies the start of project financing and equity contribution processes, with the final investment decision expected by mid-2024. The LNG project, with estimated capital costs of US$3.4 billion, aims to become one of the world’s lowest emissions facilities, enhancing Canadian gas access to global markets.
