Pembina Pipeline Corporation has cleared a significant regulatory hurdle by obtaining approval from the Canadian Competition Bureau for its acquisition of Enbridge’s stakes in the Alliance, Aux Sable, and NRGreen joint ventures. This approval was signified through a ‘no-action letter,’ indicating that the Commissioner of Competition has no objections to the transaction. Pembina expects to finalize the acquisition by April 1, 2024, marking a strategic expansion for the company.
