Macerich Company (MAC) just unveiled an announcement.
Peggy Alford has announced that she will not seek re-election to the Board of Directors of The Macerich Company at the upcoming 2024 Annual Meeting, citing a desire to dedicate time to other commitments. Alford, who has been a director since 2018 and is the current chair of the audit committee, will continue in her roles until the meeting. Her departure is not due to any disagreements with the company’s operations or practices, and The Macerich Company has expressed gratitude for her contributions during her tenure.
