Pearson plc (GB:PSON) has released an update.
Pearson plc has announced the buyback of 54,014 of its own shares at an average price of 1,004.98p each from Citigroup Global Markets Limited. The transaction, part of an ongoing buy-back program initiated on 1 March 2024, resulted in shares being bought at prices ranging from 1,000.50p to 1,007.50p. Subsequently, Pearson intends to cancel these shares as a part of their capital return strategy to shareholders.
