OrganiGram Holdings (TSE:OGI) has released an update.
Organigram Holdings Inc. has been informed by Health Canada that its Edison Jolts lozenge, previously argued as an ingestible extract, must be classified as an edible cannabis product. The decision comes after a judicial review prompted by an earlier classification, which the company’s CEO expressed disappointment over, citing substantial research and consumer-oriented product development. Organigram has ceased production of the Jolts and is coordinating with Health Canada to sell off the remaining stock.
