OrganiGram Holdings (TSE:OGI) has released an update.
Organigram Holdings Inc. has been informed by Health Canada that its Edison Jolts lozenge products will be classified as edible cannabis, despite the company’s challenge and a court-recognized procedural breach by Health Canada. CEO Beena Goldenberg expressed disappointment, noting the research and development that went into Jolts to provide consumers with a tested and regulated product. Production of Jolts has ceased as the company reviews options and works on distributing its remaining inventory.
