OrganiGram Holdings Inc. is transitioning to a new auditor after KPMG LLP, the current auditor, announced it will not reapply for the position for the 2025 fiscal year due to its decision to stop auditing cannabis industry companies. KPMG, however, has agreed to continue reviewing the company’s financials for the interim quarters and conduct the year-end audit for fiscal 2024. The previous financial statements from OrganiGram have received unqualified reports from KPMG, despite an adverse opinion on internal control over financial reporting due to material weaknesses.
