Oportun Financial Corp (OPRT) just unveiled an update.
Oportun Financial Corporation has expanded its board of directors from nine to ten members and appointed Scott Parker as a Class III director, with his term ending at the 2025 annual stockholders’ meeting. Parker, who holds a wealth of financial experience from his previous high-ranking roles in several companies, will also join the Audit and Risk Committee and Compensation and Leadership Committee. Additionally, Findell Capital Management LLC, which now has a significant stake in Oportun, has secured the right to propose a replacement director under certain conditions and agreed to customary standstill restrictions, including a cap on ownership percentage and voting in line with the board’s recommendations.
