This buyback is part of a larger plan, authorized by the board on January 31, 2024, to acquire up to 125 million shares, representing 4% of outstanding shares, for a total of up to 100 billion yen by the end of September 2024. The company, a global financial services group, connects markets across approximately 30 countries through its wealth management, investment management, and wholesale divisions.
