Newell Brands Inc. has announced the appointment of Robert A. Schmidt as the new Chief Accounting Officer, starting March 25, 2024. Schmidt brings a wealth of experience from previous roles at Edgewell Personal Care Company, ADC Therapeutics SA, and Celgene Corporation. His proven track record is complemented by his CPA qualification and history with PricewaterhouseCoopers. With no conflicts of interest reported, his compensation includes a $450,000 base salary, potential bonuses, stock units, and additional benefits. This transition follows the resignation of the former Chief Accounting Officer, Jeffrey M. Sesplankis.
