Morgan Stanley and its subsidiaries have emerged as a substantial holder in CSR Limited, acquiring a total voting power of 5.14% with 24,552,500 ordinary shares as of April 19, 2024. The financial giant gained this significant stake through various means, including prime brokerage agreements and the ordinary course of sales, trading, and investment management businesses. Their acquisition strategies included numerous cash transactions for ordinary shares dating back to December 2023.
