MiX Telematics (MIXT) has provided an update.
MiX Telematics is set to become a wholly owned subsidiary of Powerfleet, Inc., following a successful shareholder vote approving the acquisition through a scheme of arrangement under South African law. Shareholders overwhelmingly supported the resolutions, with over 99% in favor, during a well-attended meeting where 88.45% of MiX Telematics shares were represented. This decisive move paves the way for the integration of MiX’s telematics solutions with Powerfleet’s enterprise asset management, bolstering their market position and promising significant benefits to shareholders and customers alike.
