Mediaco Holding (MDIA) just unveiled an announcement.
On April 17, 2024, MediaCo Holding Inc. acquired the majority of Estrella Broadcasting’s assets and took on most of their liabilities, excluding certain broadcasting assets. The purchase was settled with warrants for MediaCo’s Class A Common Stock and shares of newly designated Series B Preferred Stock. Concurrently, MediaCo announced leadership changes including Jacqueline Hernández as Interim CEO, and the appointment of three new board members. Additionally, the company regained compliance with Nasdaq’s Minimum Bid Price Requirement, closing the matter.
