MDU Resources Group, Inc. has implemented a new severance plan, effective February 15, 2024, to offer financial security to certain executives in the event of a change in company control. Key executives will receive benefits including cash payments based on salary and incentives, healthcare coverage options, and outplacement services, provided they adhere to non-compete and confidentiality agreements. Additionally, an amendment to their Long-Term Performance-Based Incentive Plan ensures all awards not replaced during a change in control will automatically vest, with special provisions for awards granted after January 1, 2024.
