M.D.C. Holdings, Inc. has awarded significant bonuses to its top executives following a year of strong company performance. Larry A. Mizel and David D. Mandarich, having met their performance goals, received $8 million and $7 million respectively, an increase of $1 million over the cap due to their leadership excellence. Additionally, CFO Robert N. Martin and General Counsel Michael L. Kaplan were rewarded with bonuses of $3.5 million and $475,000 respectively, based on their achievements in Key Performance Indicators, with Martin’s bonus including a cash alternative to a restricted stock award.
