Lithium Americas Corp. (TSE:LAC) has released an update.
Lithium Americas Corp. has successfully closed a $275 million public offering, issuing 55 million common shares at $5 each to fund its Thacker Pass lithium project in Nevada. The proceeds, in conjunction with a U.S. Department of Energy loan and a General Motors investment, are expected to fully finance the initial construction phase of the project, which is key to supporting America’s energy security and emissions reduction goals.
