K92 Mining Inc. has announced the near-term restart of its underground operations after an independent safety audit confirmed the company’s adherence to international standards, receiving clearance from Papua New Guinea’s Mineral Resources Authority. The temporary halt of operations since March 10 is expected to moderately impact the first half-year production, but the company maintains its 2024 Operational Guidance. K92 Mining remains committed to its safety-first approach while continuing to produce gold, copper, and silver at its Kainantu Gold Mine.
