Happy Belly Food Group Inc. has successfully completed its acquisition of CraveIt Restaurant Group’s Via Cibo, an Italian fast casual dining chain, enhancing its portfolio as a consolidator of emerging food brands. This strategic move adds a cashflow positive, debt-free brand with prime locations in Ontario and Alberta to Happy Belly’s expanding lineup, now featuring its ninth brand. The transaction, involving board members, was overseen by an independent Review Committee to ensure a fair and transparent process.
