Hammerson plc successfully conducted its Annual General Meeting, with all resolutions approved by shareholders, including the re-election of directors and the declaration of a final dividend. A significant majority supported the resolution to authorize the allotment of shares, aligning with the Investment Association’s guidelines, though it received less support than typical for UK companies due to policies of certain overseas investors. The company has pledged to continue dialogue with shareholders regarding this matter and will provide updates in line with the UK Corporate Governance Code.
