Barrick Gold Corporation has decided to terminate its Earn-In Agreement with Golden Minerals Company, effectively ending its option to earn a 70% interest in the El Quevar project in Argentina. Despite fulfilling the required $1 million work expenditure, Barrick chose to exercise its right to exit the agreement, which will conclude on April 20, 2024. This development was publicly announced by Golden Minerals through a press release.
