Global Net Lease, Inc. has appointed Mr. Michael J. U. Monahan to its board of directors until the next annual stockholders meeting. Monahan, a seasoned professional with a longstanding career since 1999 at CBRE Group, Inc., is recognized as an independent member under NYSE guidelines. The appointment carries no familial or transactional conflicts of interest and he will receive standard non-employee director compensation. Additionally, Monahan is set to be indemnified to the full extent allowed by Maryland law, safeguarding him against certain liabilities incurred during his directorship.
