Genco Shipping & Trading Limited has appointed Paramita Das as a new director, leveraging her extensive experience in the commodities markets and ESG matters. Das, who has a strong background with Rio Tinto and other prestigious organizations, brings a wealth of expertise to the Board, enhancing its collective skills. Her term as a director will continue until the 2024 Annual Meeting of Shareholders, during which she will be eligible for standard Board compensation.
