GE Aerospace (GE) just unveiled an update.
General Electric Company has successfully completed the spin-off of GE Vernova Inc., rebranding the remaining operations as GE Aerospace. On April 2, 2024, GE shareholders received one share of GE Vernova for every four shares held, with fractional shares paid out in cash. GE Vernova began trading on the NYSE as “GEV,” and GE Aerospace will report Vernova’s historical results as discontinued operations in future financial statements, starting with the second quarter of 2024.
