Fortuna Silver Mines Inc. has announced a significant first-quarter performance for 2024, with gold equivalent production reaching 112,543 ounces, marking a substantial increase from the previous year. The company has made strides in reducing its debt by repaying $40 million of its credit facility and has also bought back over a million shares, reflecting a strong operational and financial position. Despite the production growth, the company witnessed a decrease in silver output compared to the last quarter of 2023, while still maintaining its annual production guidance for the year.
