Exxon Mobil Seeks to End Reporting in Canada

Exxon Mobil Corp. (XOM) has released an update.

Exxon Mobil Corporation has moved to stop being a reporting issuer in Canada, a change contingent on approval by Canadian regulators. This won’t affect its obligations in the U.S., as it will continue to meet SEC and NYSE disclosure requirements. Canadian shareholders will still have access to the same financial information as U.S. investors, maintaining transparency.
