Everi Holdings Inc. is set to enhance its gaming and digital services by acquiring the Global Gaming and PlayDigital businesses from International Game Technology PLC through a complex series of transactions. This strategic move, expected to close between late 2024 and early 2025, involves asset transfers, equity interest exchanges, and mergers, resulting in the acquired businesses becoming wholly owned subsidiaries of Everi. Additionally, the board of directors at Everi will see changes with several resignations and new appointments, bringing in a wealth of experience from various sectors to guide the enlarged company post-merger.
