Equinox Resources Limited has reported a remarkable discovery at their Mata da Corda Rare Earth Project in Brazil, with surface sample results indicating exceptionally high rare earth element (REE) grades, including a top sample of 5,024 ppm TREO. The findings suggest a large-scale mineralised system over a 10km2 area, with characteristics analogous to Ionic Adsorption Clay deposits, indicating the potential for increased grades at depth. This positions Equinox Resources with a first-mover advantage in a previously unexplored greenfield region, promising to reshape the rare earth industry.
