Ecopetrol (EC) has released an update.
Ecopetrol S.A., Colombia’s largest integrated energy company, held its shareholders’ meeting on March 22, 2024, where key decisions were made including the election of Board of Directors members for the remainder of the 2021-2025 period, approval of statutory reforms, and the distribution of dividends. Notably, shareholders voted overwhelmingly in favor of the proposed agendas, with the majority supporting dividend payments in two installments for minority shareholders and by the end of 2024 for the majority shareholder. The company also provided updates on its broad international operations, spanning various segments from hydrocarbon production to telecommunications.
