Ecopetrol (EC) has released an update.
Ecopetrol S.A., Colombia’s energy powerhouse, announced the approval of a total dividend payout of COP $312 per share for Fiscal Year 2023, to be paid in two equal installments on April 3 and June 26, 2024, for minority shareholders. The majority shareholder will receive their dividend by the end of 2024, in alignment with the debt repayment schedule of the Fuel Price Stabilization Fund. This move reflects Ecopetrol’s strong financial position and commitment to shareholder value amidst its extensive operations across the American continent.
