Digital World Acquisition Corp. has penned a Retention Bonus Agreement with Trump Media & Technology Group Corp. (TMTG) to secure and incentivize key employees ahead of their planned business merger. This agreement, effective from February 12, 2024, stipulates that Digital World will pay up to $6.38 million in bonuses to eligible TMTG affiliates after the merger’s completion, provided they remain associated with TMTG and meet certain conditions. This strategic move aims to ensure a smooth transition and retain the talent critical for TMTG’s continued operations post-merger.
