Descartes Systems Group has enhanced its logistics technology suite by acquiring Assure Assist, Inc., known as MyCarrierPortal (MCP), a provider of carrier onboarding and risk monitoring solutions. This acquisition aims to bolster supply chain security and efficiency, addressing the transportation industry’s need for better fraud prevention and compliance oversight. The deal, valued at approximately $24 million with additional performance-based considerations, underscores Descartes’ commitment to expanding its Global Logistics Network services.
