Compass Group plc (GB:CPG) has released an update.
Compass Group PLC has announced the repurchase of 230,000 of its ordinary shares as part of its ongoing share buyback program totaling $500 million, intended to be completed in 2024. The shares were bought through BNP Paribas Financial Markets and will be held in treasury, primarily to fulfill employee share scheme obligations. After these transactions, the company’s total number of voting rights remains at 1,703,010,189 ordinary shares.
