Compass Group PLC, a leading foodservice company, has announced the buyback of 2,000 ordinary shares as part of its ongoing share repurchase program, which is expected to fulfill employee share scheme obligations. This move is a continuation of the company’s substantial $500 million share buyback plan, with a current equivalent of $250 million targeted for completion in 2024. The recent transactions bring the company’s total treasury-held ordinary shares to 82,649,788, with a total of 1,702,754,189 ordinary shares in issue.
