Compass Group plc (GB:CPG) has released an update.
Compass Group PLC has reported the purchase of 244,000 of its own ordinary shares, a move that is part of its larger $500 million share buyback program set to be completed in 2024. The shares, acquired through broker BNP Paribas Financial Markets, will be held in treasury, primarily to fulfill employee share scheme obligations. After this transaction, Compass Group PLC’s total number of shares in issue remains at 1,702,766,189, with all shares holding equal voting rights.
